Instructions

1. Main features

  • 1.1
    One pill (1600 mg) of Cod Omega Plus® contains the following active substances: Dry n3® - powdered fish oil extract in micro capsules 360 mg; Methylsulfonylmethane - MSM (the source of natural sulfur) 138 mg; Phoscalim® - hydrolyzed fish bone powder 93 mg.
  • 1.2
    Cod Omega Plus® pills are round and flat, light beige to light brown in color, with a light pleasant fish oil aroma and taste for cats and dogs. The pills can be with or without a separating line in the middle.
  • 1.3
    Cod Omega Plus® pills are packed in the appropriate volume plastic bags containing 90 or 21 pills each.
  • 1.4
    Storage temperature ±0°C to +25°C. Relative humidity of not more than 75%.
  • 1.5
    Period of validity – 26 months from the date of manufacture.

2. Cod Omega Plus® pharmacological properties

  • Pharmacological properties determined by active substances.
  • 2.1
    Fish oil extract powder (Dry n3®) in micro capsules contains unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids necessary to the organism - Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and alpha-Linolenic acid (ALA) as well as vitamins A and D. This preparation assists in skin and hair recovery and improves their health and quality.

    Hydrolyzed fish bone powder (Phoscalim®) is produced in the enzymatic hydrolysis process. Phoscalim® contains 21-24% Calcium (Ca) and 10-12% phosphorus (P), small amount of type II collagen, chondroitin sulphate, glucosamine, selenium, manganese, zinc, copper, iron, cobalt, glycine, methionine, tryptophan, threonine, arginine, leucine, valine, lysine and glutamic acid. These substances promote bone and cartilage growth. It is essential for animals with bone fractures.
  • 2.3
    Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is the source of natural or organic sulfur. MSM is responsible for ionic circulation providing synchronous sodium-potassium exchange in cell membranes. MSM is an important hair and skin nutrient.

3. Cod Omega Plus® use

  • 3.1
    Соd Omega Plus® - a preparation for cats and dogs to assist in hair and skin recovery; for prophylaxis; during new hair growth ; to prevent allergic dermatitis of different origins.
  • 3.2
    Соd Omega Plus® usage:
    • — Kittens and puppies weighing up to 5 kg — 1/2 a pill per day
    • — Cats and dogs weighing up to 10kg — 1 pill per day
    • — Dogs weighing from 10 kg to 30 kg — 2 pills per day;
    • — Dogs weighing over 30 kg — 3 pills per day.
    Соd Omega Plus® usage period of not less than 3 weeks.
  • 3.3
    Preparation can be used in addition to and with other symptomatic and antibacterial preparations.
